Joep van Osch

Location

Amsterdam (NL)

Genre

Joep van Osch is a documentary film director. Amongst others he made films and television series about Dutch elderly boxers, his own social media addiction, Swedish stay-at-home dads and Asian millennials.

For Constant 1 0 1 Joep will direct a video series with presentor, Lucas de Man, produced by Company New Heroes.

Joep van Osch loves the art of interviewing and the never-boring pursuit of creating emotional and humorous stories, out of the chaos of real-life events. His most recent documentary, “My daughter the vlogger”, was made for VPRO television. He also worked for KRO/NCRV and Viceland. Joep also directs short films for various companies and foundations.

Constant

Constant inspires Joep mainly because of his playfulness, and the courage to not focus on one thing (like most artists do), but to make room for several passions. Painting, of course, is a big one, but also music, architecture, and so on. Constant embraced many ways of making art. As a filmmaker who is also a drummer and big music lover, this really resonates with Joep.
