Jan Postma (1985) is a political scientist, photographer and journalist. Postma was editor-in-chief of the online magazine Hard//hoofd and is now an editor for De Groene Amsterdammer. He published two essay collections: Vroege Werken (2017, Early Works) and Is dit Alles? (2021, Is This All?). Vroege Werken was nominated for the Jan Hanlo Essay Prize in 2019, Is dit alles was nominated in 2022 for the KANTL Prize for essays.

For the forthcoming publication Playing Constant: The Only Constant Is Change, Postma wrote the essay “De nieuwe wereld” (“The New World”). Playing Constant is a publication by Jap Sam Books in collaboration with Zippora Elders and Fondation Constant, reflecting on the Constant 101 project, due spring 2025.
