In 2020 Justin Bennett visited Fondation Constant as we were in the proces of emptying Constant’s house and home studio. Justin’s practice is deeply rooted in sound and music and he was delighted to hear that we had several audio tapes from the sixties. Also he managed to figure out a machine we had found in Constant’s basement, which turned out to be a syntheziser avant-la-lettre, that Constant most likely used in his immersive projects of the sixties, see the link to that news item below.

Justin did not just digitalise the tapes for us but also analysed the content. With that he helped us tremendously to explore an area that we ourselves were not familar with.
