Museum in the spotlight

How can you create art with the history of your collection? This might be the question that the staff of Museum Van Abbe in Eindhoven asked itself. The result is a room with three walls covered with a beautiful pattern showing all the works the museum loaned out over the last 25 years organised according to the year they were aquired. The empty spaces on the wall are symbolic of the works in the collection that have not been loaned out.
