Constant's Wall in Tibirkelunde, Denmark

In May 1949 Constant painted and sculpted a wall at the house of his friend Jørgen Nash in Tibirkelunde, Denmark, see photo.

The family that owns the house now knows the wall has been created by Constant. About 20 years ago they contacted him about the upkeep of the wall and were told to let the wall decay. The house will soon be sold and the family is worried about the new signs of decay. The internal metal armatures, holding the cement, have rusted and are causing dis-coloring and chipping in the cement. The family is now reaching out to several organisations in Denmark and the Netherlands for support to preserve the wall.
